The Susan Daniels' Fund for
Collaborative New Work
Susan Daniels was a lifelong supporter of the performing arts. After graduating from Northeastern with a degree in journalism and theater, Susan spent much of her life writing dance and theater reviews, as well as artist interviews, for Boston-based newspapers such as The Patriot Ledger, The Bay State Banner, and The Theater Mirror, among others. Susan was one of the first and youngest writers to attend the Dance Critics Conference at the American Dance Festival where she was mentored by Deborah Jowitt. Her love of dance was deep, and she enjoyed visiting Jacob's Pillow in The Berkshires with her daughter Gabrielle, her husband David, and her mother Shirley. Susan created a home where the arts could flourish, and we remember her warm and playful spirit.
All donations made to the Susan Daniels’ Fund for Collaborative New Work will go towards supporting Berkshire Voices.
