Great Barrington Public Theater keeps high-quality theater affordable and accessible to everyone. In 2023, we produced four new plays and worked closely with Berkshire Voices to develop and present readings of new work for future consideration. We employed more than fifty local theater artists and craftspeople. We earned rave reviews from critics and audience members, and we couldn’t have done any of it without your help!

Our theater is called PUBLIC for a reason. We want you to be involved, to be a part of the company. If you love seeing great new work in the Berkshires and want to support local artists, we need your support. Only about 10% of our annual budget is operating overhead. 90% of revenue goes to artists, technicians, and materials. Your contribution makes production of new plays possible.
